My name is Scott Fingal and I spent a lot of years as a graphic designer. I have also spent that time fixing houses. So I’ll bring that designers eye, attention to detail and sense of creativity to your every home repair, handyman, home maintenance, and landscaping project.
I am now a Phipps Master Gardener as well as a Sustainable Landcare Accredited Professional
I am a lifelong Pittsburgher and huge Penguins, Pirates and Steelers fan. My love for my hometown is reflected in my many interests and volunteer activities. I am a black belt in judo, and helped found, and run, a judo program for at-risk youth.
Presently I volunteer at the Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry (each year I grow from seed over 300 tomato and basil plants to donate to clients) and Phipps Homegrown Program. I am a member of Temple Sinai in Pittsburgh. I enjoy music, the outdoors– especially fly fishing and mountain biking. I can be found almost daily in Frick Park with my dog, on a mountain bike, or running. And recently I began learning to Rock Climb!
I just rotated off the board of the UpStream PGH but continue as both a volunteer and certified Rain Barrel Installer and continue to give back to my beloved Frick Park.
