About

My name is Scott Fingal and I spent a lot of years (decades) as a graphic designer. I have also spent that time fixing houses. So  I’ll bring that designers eye, attention to detail and sense of creativity to your every home repair, handyman, home maintenance, and landscaping project.

I have some very exciting news…I have been accepted into Phipps Master Gardener Program starting in March 2023!

I am a lifelong Pittsburgher and huge Penguins and Steelers fan. My love for my  hometown is reflected in my many interests and volunteer activities. I am a black belt in judo, and  helped found, and run, a judo program for at-risk youth.

Presently I volunteer at the Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry  and  I am a member of Temple Sinai in Pittsburgh.  I  enjoy music, both listening to, and playing the mandolin,  the outdoors especially fly fishing and mountain biking. I can be found almost daily in Frick Park with my dog, on a mountain bike, or running.   (I recently completed my THIRD half-marathon and WILL run a full marathon one day.)  Recently I began learning to Rock Climb!

I serve on the the board of the UpStream PGH (Nine Mile Run Watershed Association and look forward to giving back to my beloved Frick Park.
